The replaceable filter protects the heater and pump from impurities that may be found in your tap water. If you find the beads are changing quickly, this is due to the hardness of your water. To maximize performance of the filter you may want to use distilled water.
The Mop Pads are safe for use on marble, ceramic, stone, vinyl, laminate, linoleum and sealed hardwood floors.
