Multiple Configurations
When you first look at the Miele universal upright units you may think that what you see is what you get - but look again. Within a few seconds you can quickly change the configuration of the unit.

By simply pressing the easy clips, the suction tube can be moved below the canister enabling you to get under low furnishings such as beds and sofas. You can also remove the tube completely and use it as a hand vacuum for cleaning tight spots and upholstery.

Three Filter Options For All Your Needs
The advanced electrostatic Super Air Clean Filter removes microscopic dust particles from the exhaust air. Standard on the S168 unit and an option on the S163, the H.E.P.A. filter is capable of retaining 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns in size and is efficient enough to remove lung-damaging particles such as allergens and airborne pollutants while absorbing odors.

Accessory Tools and Long Cord - What Else Could You Need!
Nothing is more annoying than having your vacuum cleaner cord not reach or having to fumble around looking for your accessory tools. Our ample, 26-foot cord helps eliminate that problem, and a two-clip system holds the cord neatly in place when not in use.

There is also a simple twist release knob for added speed and convenience. With Miele's tool caddy, an upholstery tool and crevice nozzle are conveniently located at your fingertips making you ready for just about any cleaning assignment (not standard on the S163).
